Spring Release Weekend (April 30th - May 2nd) and Mothers Day Balloon Stampede (May 7th-9th) have become a haven for wine lovers throughout the country.
For those who have never had the pleasure of enjoying our Walla Walla Valley in the spring, this is a beautiful and exciting time of year! As the valley awakes from its winter slumber, the senses are once again stimulated by lush green wheat fields, snow capped mountains, the smell of freshly cultivated earth and sweet vineyards dancing in bloom.
Spring Release Weekend highlights the first release of a new wine. Cameron will be on hand to introduce our wines and share the creative winemaking process. Visitors can be the first to enjoy the 2009 Gossamer White and take home a fresh selection of Walla Walla wines.
West of the Blues BBQ is going to bring their lunching experience to Piper Ave. This will be a great place to grab a quick bite while sampling some terrific Walla Walla wine.
Mothers Day Balloon Stampede provides a spectacular opportunity to experience the valley's award winning wines, while enjoying a refreshing spring sky filled with hot air balloons. You can even enjoy a bottle of your favorite wine from a new perspective aboard a hot air balloon. This is a great weekend for the entire family. The kids will particularly enjoy the Night Glow, held at the Walla Walla Fair Grounds at dusk.
